Highlights of our program
Literacy focus
The ability to read, write, and think critically.
Our programs focus on building a fun way of getting children to enjoy learning literacy where teachers plan age-appropriate literacy activities for children every day. To strengthen children’s social and emotional development as well as language development, children are also encouraged to do weekly show-n-tell. Educators will also work on children's phonic awareness, print cognization and writing skills. For the Toddler group, educators will begin to help children develop their sense of print materials and letters, as well as crayon gripping skills.
Creative expression
We encourage children to creatively express themselves through art and craft, as well as foster children’s fine motor skills and divergent learning via the process.
We focus on children’s art and craft fun activities every day, teacher plan so many fun activities for our children like drawing, painting, creating and crafting etc which are good for children's brain fine motor skills development. It can enhance children's hand-eye coordination and building levels of manual dexterity. Creativity Craft also encourages children to play and experiment in a fun and relaxed environment.
Toddlers can practise their fine motor skills by doing handprint art, age-appropriate craft projects;
Preschool students have the freedom to explore their inner creative self with open-ended materials;
Prekindergarten children are resourceful and independent, they are able to initiate their own art projects. Art and craft activities improve their coordination, socialize, think critically, creative and productive, express themselves, solve problems etc skills.
Fostering social&emotional skills
Developing executive skills
Planning, organizing and problem-solving.
We incorporate social and emotional learning into our routine every day.
Model good manners
Educators at our center bring a positive attitude and warm welcoming into the classroom and set the tone of behaviour between the children which builds a warm, comfortable environment in every corner of our center. For example: during the drop-off and pickup period, teachers and children say, “Good morning, bye-bye, see you tomorrow”, We always use” please”, “thank you”, or no thanks”.
Teamwork and leadership
Educators encourage children of all ages in our center to build self-confidence and find a sense of belonging, encourage children to communicate with their peers and adult; initiate their own projects; and give children more opportunities to take leadership roles in the classroom. We teach children how to work with others in a team situation in small or large group activities. As well as, teaching Children to manage their emotions and conflict resolution strategies.
Educators encourage children to focus on what needs to be done and come up with a game plan to do it.
In our program, we make the time a physical, measurable thing by using clocks.
Examples of helping children regulate and develop executive function skills can be seen in day to day routine of our program, if the teacher is singing “clean up, clean up”, children will know it is clean up time and how to put the toys in the right bin. Educators will also teach children how to organize their cubbies through the daily routines.
